DC contacts

DC contact selection and maintenance are key to ensure an efficient quality reliant process. The surface finishing industry relies on many different configurations of DC contact to transfer current to the component, the key is ensuring the best possible conductivity whilst making sure the DC contacts are easy to maintain.

We have tried and tested various DC contact configurations over the years and we recommend the bell and wedge arrangement as the most efficient and low maintenance solution. Bell & wedge contacts have a greater surface area and self clean as the barrel or flightbar locates for increased power transmission.
